May 28, 2009 - The companies exhibiting at the Outdoor French Innovation booth (B2 219) all manufacture innovative equipment for use in outdoor leisure activities.
After the Midi-Pyrénées region, Rhône-Alpes is France’s second largest region in surface area, with a wide variety of landscapes. The region stretches from Mont Blanc to the river Drôme and the Ardèche gorges, and features alpine passes and mountain lakes: this gives Rhône-Alpes unique scope for outdoor activities. The following companies will be on the Outdoor French Innovation stand to present their latest products at the Outdoor trade fair in Friedrichshafen.
Cilao, which was established in 2003, sells ergonomic and ultra-light climbing and mountaineering equipment, including harnesses and rucksacks made of Dyneema, a resistant polyethylene fibre (www.cilao.com). Also on display at the trade show will be products from Pascal Guidetti, a specialist in automated hiking sticks: simple pressure from the thumb on the handle will immediately adjust the stick’s length (www.guidetti-rando.com).
TSL Outdoor is a leading manufacturer of snowshoes. The company also manufactures Nordic walking sticks made of glass fibre and carbon, which are equipped with Energy Response handles and Push and Pull PAD studs (www.tsl-outdoor.com). For its part, Raidlight designs and manufactures clothing, rucksacks and walking sticks for trail walking (www.raidlight.com).
Sidas, which was founded in 1975, manufactures the Conform’able brand of thermoforming shoes, ski boots and soles, which adapt perfectly to fit the wearer’s feet. Among the products on display will be running, hiking, golfing, skiing and trekking shoes (www.sidas.com). Also present on the stand will be Andrea Boldrini (www.andrea-boldrini.com), Entre-Prises (www.entre-prises.com) and Expression-Holds (www.expression-holds.com), which all specialise in climbing gear, including climbing holds, shoes, complete climbing-wall systems, elevated obstacle courses and clothing.
On the booth, there will be retro-reflective straps and strips made by JRC Reflex (www.jrc-reflex.com), as well as a wide range of straps from Techni-Sangles (www.technisangles.com). Finally, Osm’ose (www.osmosegrimpe.com), Snap (www.snapclimbing.com) and Volx (www.volx.eu) all manufacture climbing equipment, while Nograd – IDFIX makes a wide range of sportswear articles.
