  • (1888PressRelease) March 07, 2014 - Hyderabad - The 'Eloquence' club of IMT Hyderabad has been inducted as the latest chapter of Toastmasters International clubs in the city of Hyderabad. In Hyderabad, IMT-Eloquence club stands as 48th club. The establishment of the club is not only important from a personal and leadership development perspective but also for expanding networks.

    In presence of Toastmasters International, IMT Hyderabad toastmasters club-Eloquence has been started. It came upwith its first external event on 2ndMarch 2014 -'Rhetoric', which was a power point presentation competition. It aimed at establishing relations with other local clubs with public relations in the hindsight. In today's competition students spoke about their passion/hobbies in the presence of Toastmasters Hyderabad division governor Alfred Ravi Tauro, Area governors Srinidhi and Rohit Swain.

    Apart from the six contestants and the mentors assigned to them, there was a session by Soft Skills Trainer Prathima Madireddy, in which she spoke about importance of leadership and listening skills in the education field.

    Lastly, in the competition that was conducted for IMT-H Students as a motivation for the new inductees, Toastmaster Padmanabh Upadhyay stood winner, Toastmaster Gurleen Kaur and Toastmaster Sumit Agarwal stood second and third respectively.
