February 27, 2008 - As momentum continues to build and strong support grows for the Miami Dade District 11 County Commission Candidate Whilly Bermudez, the restaurant and entertainment industries launch a massive fundraiser at a Miami residence. At least 8 different restaurants 12 nightclub proprietors collaborated on the March 13th event. The RSVP list includes a slew of celebrities and recording artists such as Fergie, Shia LaBeouf, Zach Thomas, Mario Vasquez, and Teri Hatcher. The musical entertainment is being lead by Latin Grammy Award Winning Singer/Song Writer Jorge Moreno featuring live performances. Jorge is currently working on his 3rd album. This new installment for the artist is in English, intended mainly for the pop/rock market music genre.
Whilly Bermudez has reigned supreme as one of the best-known event marketers and businessmen in South Florida. He is a staunch ally of the restaurant and entertainment industry. He strongly opposes any actions by Government that affect liquor license occupancy and time restraints. Whilly believes that Miami Dade County is a Mecca of entertainment and its that recognition that helps sustain our local economy.
