July 05, 2008 - Coralville Iowa USA - In a bid to enlist the support of young people aged 18-25 in the campaign to make the Internet more conducive for communication and commerce through quality online reputation management training, the Coralville Iowa-based Reputation Training International has launched its Reputation Fellows Program, inviting applications from July 15 to August 30 each year from young people who want to gain valuable online reputation management training skills and share such skills with small nonprofits in their communities.
The 39-day Reputation Fellows Program which kicks off September 22 will help fellows from around the world - who would be given free online reputation management training - gain relevant hands-on exposure in an organizational setting thus bolstering their employment opportunities, explore outlets for their creativity, develop their leadership quality, build a broader network of useful relationships, and strengthen their communities through offering valuable no-fee online reputation management training to staff of small nonprofit organizations in their communities.
"At such a time in our globalized information age when an angry former employee, spouse, neighbor or sibling could ruin an individual or organization with damaging posts online, we feel the need to help small nonprofit organizations who may not be able to pay huge recurring monthly fees to companies to help them manage their online reputation. How? By providing quality online reputation management training to young people living, schooling or working in their communities who would in turn train the staff of the nonprofit organizations free-of-charge," notes C. Paschal Eze, senior training consultant at Reputation Training International which provides DIY (do-it-yourself) Reputation Management Training to individuals and organizations, and the Certified Online Reputation Professional (CORP) programs, among others.
Prospective fellows are required to send their applications comprising a cover letter, current resume, name and address of the small nonprofit organization that has accepted to gain from their online reputation management training, and 2 strong references to reputation (at) reputationtraining.com or via surface mail to:

Twelve fellows would be selected by September 15 for the unpaid program, and given a three-day online reputation management training by Reputation Training International from September 22 to September 25. The trained fellows would then continue with their 39-day fellowship for another 36 days, training the staff of small nonprofit organizations in their communities to properly establish, monitor, maintain, promote and protect their online reputation from damaging posts online. Fellows would also be required to send weekly updates to ReputationTraining International that would be published at ReputationTraining.com.
