The facility will supplement RBS’ world-class licensee support personnel and also provide sales, marketing, and technical assistance to the company’s rapidly growing number of international clients.
The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Remote Backup Systems, Inc., is staffed with IT industry veterans who are well-versed in the company’s products, and are employed directly by Remote Backup Systems.
“RBS has secured excellent office space and experienced personnel who will focus exclusively on supporting RBackup licensees,” commented Tommy Gardner, RBS’ Director of Sales and Marketing. “While many companies simply outsource their support to an outfit that handles dozens of products, we felt that our licensees and prospects deserved a technician’s undivided attention.” Gardner continued.
In addition to providing an enhanced technical support window for all licensees, the Chennai facility will also head up the company’s initiative to broaden the scope of their technical services offerings. Software installation, custom configuration and graphic customization work will now be bundled as a free service with certain online backup software packages.
