  • San Jose, CA (1888PressRelease) December 28, 2011 - Originally established as Cupertino Kitchen Design and then transformed into RemodelWest, our family business began in 1992 to serve the remodeling needs of those in the South Bay and Peninsula. As native Bay Area residents we started the family and the business just about the same time and produced three wonderful children; Jessica, Mike and Adam of which the youngest finishing college this Summer. Over the course of the past twenty years we have seen our business evolve and grow while seeing the same with our children. The experiences brought on by starting and running a small business and raising a family has resulted in stellar values for both. Since 1992 RemodelWest has amassed a following of clients and friends that have been able to experience the service that owners Bill and Sue Reid demand and deliver day in and day out no matter the obstacles presented.

    Over the course of the past two decades RemodelWest Design and Construction has entrenched itself as a quality design and construction firm specializing in Kitchen and Bath Remodeling and especially larger projects such as home additions and whole house remodels. As any long standing business the fringes of our staff have changed but the core strength stands strong with a group of longstanding employees led by myself. Over the years I have learned what it takes to provide a quality service that homeowner's desire with only a handful of companies in the area understanding this. Over the past few years the pressure has been placed on small business to compromise on the quality of service provided in order to maintain the business. Even when clients compromise their own quality expectations in order to attain a lower price it's tough as a business owner to ignore their demands. Over recent years I have found a balance by scaling and managing my business therefore not forced to compromise on quality. The result is a smaller business delivering a hands-on service with satisfied clients and a strong referral base.

    Right out of the shoot 2012 starts off with some nice projects ready to go with wonderful clients to boot. This coming year begins our 21'st year in business and with that I'd like to reach out to my clients and their friend and families to carry on our business by make an offering for all to benefit. If I had to pick one thing I have learned over the past twenty years it would be how important our customers are to us. It may seem obvious but I believe that our actions in providing a quality service and product have kept us strong. Why? Because looking back the realization appears quickly when looking at the hierarchy of our customers. I call it our Family Tree filled with customers, their friends, relatives and colleagues.

    In January RemodelWest will be announcing a program for the entire year. A program to benefit our family tree and to grow more branches!
