August 07, 2008 - Despite months of intense bidding against low-cost Chinese manufacturers, RELYmedia secured the year-long contract by providing the lowest price and a robust delivery schedule. More than just simple thumb drives, the client had a long list of requirements including custom molding and color matching.
The contract calls for delivery of 200,000 drives in the first 4 weeks, a feat not possible for the average jump drive manufacturer. "Our customer had very firm delivery requirements and our ability to meet their demands really helped separate us from the other companies," said Craig Walters, Director of New Business Development. "Not only do we have the capacity to produce over 10,000 flash drives per day, we were able to guarantee timely delivery, something most manufacturers in China cannot do."
This project is just another addition to a long list of recent flash drive awards.
