LifeCell International is holding an informative and free one-day Antenatal and labour preparation workshop for expectant mothers in Kolkata. The workshop will be conducted by Dr. Sonali Shivlani, an antenatal specialist from Mumbai. The venue for this workshop is: the Senator Hotel, 15th Camac Street, Kolkata-17 on Sunday, June 21, 2009 from 11.00 am onwards.
The program will give an overview about pregnancy, and discuss about varied topics related to pregnancy like hormonal changes, diet and nutrition and share tips on maintaining a healthy outlook during pregnancy. The workshop will emphasize on the benefits of breast feeding and routine exercises and include sessions on birth preparation, handling fear of labour and share tips for normal delivery with the participants.
Modern Indian women rely on books, and look up at peers for suggestions; however a professional approach is an at-most necessity to handle these delicate times.
