  • (1888PressRelease) April 11, 2015 - Regalix today announced findings from its recent research on 'State of B2B Product Marketing 2015' in B2B companies, documenting the views of senior executives who mostly represented companies in the technology sector.

    The Survey revealed that Customer Acquisition emerged as the most widely used metric to measure the impact of Product Marketing, according to 89% marketers while increase in revenue stood in the second place by 62%.

    ● 91% marketers chose website as the most popular digital channel to market their products while 89% preferred email
    ● 89% marketers mention new customer acquisition as the metric they use to measure the impact of product marketing
    ● 84% respondents say they invest in product marketing
    ● 81% executives choose direct selling as their top sales distribution strategy
    ● 69% marketers choose understanding buyer needs or pain points as the most important go-to-market strategy to a product launch

    The survey also revealed that LinkedIn and Twitter are the most sought after social media platforms for a product launch, followed by Facebook and YouTube. The survey was conducted globally, with 67% participation from the US.

    Nimish Vohra further adds, "Technology has dramatically changed the way organizations do business, including the way they market their products. Companies adopt various tools and technologies to launch products faster, target market segments better and track such adoptions more closely. It is heartening to see that a majority of companies are willing to invest in product marketing."
