June 19, 2007 - North East Lincolnshire Council (covering Grimsby, Immingham and the surrounding area), has become the latest public sector organisation to turn to Reflex as a long-term strategic partner for its security and associated technology requirements.
North East Lincolnshire Council is a forward thinking authority in the north of England, and was looking to develop a new relationship for the provision of borough-wide CCTV schemes, and authority-owned CCTV systems. It was searching for a partner to manage the introduction of IP network surveillance technologies. Whilst the council already had suppliers, it needed a more consultative approach with a broader technology skill-set.
Reflex is working hand in hand with North East Lincs Council on a range of initiatives to monitor, detect and prevent anti social behaviours – in line with regional and national government targets. This includes the design and installation of car park surveillance systems in Grimsby, which are already working well and been responsible for arrests within weeks of the systems being commissioned. The success of Reflex’s work and its growing relationship with the council has already led to digital upgrades to surveillance and safety systems at health centres and public parks in Grimsby and Immingham.
Ray Edmonds of North East Lincolnshire Council, said: “We have had several specialist suppliers in the past, but no single source supplier with a broad range of skills and the ability to support all our requirements on an ongoing basis. In Reflex we have found a company that understands our market, and has the latest technologies, delivery capabilities and technical expertise.”
