“In this age of TiVo, Do not call lists and SPAM blocking, we believe you should have control over the advertising displayed on your pages,” said Willy Aenlle, the CEO and Co-founder. “You should have a choice over the ads placed on your pages - not have some impersonal algorithm based on aggregated data decide for you. It’s strange how in a medium where everyone chooses where to go and what you see, no site asks what type of ads you’d like to see?” he added.

RedToucan gives users a way to customize the advertising on their pages – it is a powerful and meaningful way to offer targeted advertising while removing the noise and clutter on the pages.

“We find users re-engage with ads when they can control them, becoming keen to see what displays next,” says Willy. “The reason for the new found attention is relevancy. Self-selected ads are more pertinent,” he says. Their object of meshing future purchase intentions with advertising is to create a subtle but powerful user experience.

At present, different ad networks serve the three ad channels - run-of-site graphic ads are CPM, graphic ads by categories are CPA and keyword text ads are CPC based.
