November 06, 2007 - As Managing Director of the national Red Hot Communications Gold Copywriting mentorship program, Lisa Manyon attended a one day intensive copywriting workshop in Burbank, California. The Insider Copywriting Formula Workshop was held October 19th. Attendees were eager to learn award winning copywriting techniques from Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero -- one of the nation’s top female copywriters.
The following day was reserved for Red Hot Communications Gold Copywriting Mentorship Program participants. The day was spent participating in hot seats to propel participants’ copywriting businesses to the next level. Saturday evening concluded with a networking event led by Alex Mandossian -- one of the top internet marketers in the world.
After sparking new business ideas all weekend long, Manyon retreated to the mountain community of Lake Arrowhead, California to spend time with a trusted friend and colleague. The stay was cut short due to a mandatory evacuation of the area. Fires had spread throughout California.
Manyon says, "We actually had no idea the Arrowhead area was being evacuated. The electricity was out Sunday morning. Luckily I had my cell phone with me and my phone was the only phone in the home that received a signal in the mountains. I am so grateful that my aunt was able to reach us to let us know what was going on."
Manyon concludes, "I ended up cutting my stay in California short after a State of Emergency was declared. My heart goes out to everyone who has experienced loss from the fires. I am just grateful to be back in Idaho. Plus, I am happy to say my friend is one of the lucky people who has a home to return to."
