Austin, TX, Las Vegas, NV at the Consumer Electronics Show— Vamoose® with patented Novexium®, permanently removes tobacco odors leaving a pleasant leather scent, is now available from Vamoose Products. Specially formulated for leather goods including; couches, handbags, car seats, boots and shoes, hats and other leather products which have been exposed to second hand smoke from cigarettes, cigars, and pipes, Vamoose molecularly combines the nicotine and tar residues left from tobacco products.
More than an air freshener or perfume which temporarily masks odors, Vamoose molecularly combines with the tar and a nicotine molecule deposited by smoking and converts them into inert matter thus neutralizing their ability to emit odors. “I was skeptical about the claims made for Vamoose but we were getting desperate. My daughter purchased some high-dollar leather furniture that had been stored in a garage where a smoker was banished to when he smoked. With the garage door open, she did not detect the smell when she purchased the sofa, chair and ottoman but once the furniture was brought into her heated home, the odor was VERY noticeable. So bad she removed the furniture from her house because, in her words, of the "overpowering stench". We tried several products available at big box home supply stores that claimed they would remove odors, specifically tobacco smoke odor.
