| Recon Platoon 2d Battalion 60th Infantry, 9th Infantry Division, 1968-1969 at Tan Tru Vietnam. This unit was one of the finest platoons in the 9th Infantry Division.During the time period from December 1968 thru May 1969 this unit had one KIA. There were serval members wounded mostly by booby traps. All members of this unit was awarded the Combat Infantrymans Badge and all but two members were awarded the Purple Heart for injures received during combat operation. The men that served in this platoon were some of the finest men in the US Army at this time.
