August 16, 2009 - Today, July 15, 2009, Bill Allen, well-known entrepreneur and life-long dyslexic, launched an exciting new website—ReadingTools.org--to help parents assess and address their children’s reading problems. It is estimated that 11.7 million young people between the ages of 6 and 18 struggle with reading difficulties. Mr. Allen said, “Many parents are confused and surprised when their happy, well-adjusted children seem suddenly to hate school and find excuses to stay home. This is usually followed by a serious drop in their self-esteem. Parents consult teachers, and the teachers can only say the child is having trouble reading and need more phonics based training. Our website goes way beyond that, providing a free assessment tool and a free e-book that will allow the parent to identify what needs to happen and take immediate steps to turn things around.”
Bill Allen has been helping children who are 3-D learners (often called dyslexics) for more than 14 years, and he has seen dramatic improvements in their reading and academic abilities. Over 95% of the children who use The Learning To Read Program achieve reading fluency in less than 3 months to a year. They go on to be successful in high school, college, and beyond. Having seen the results of his methods, Bill put his techniques into a series of 3-D pop-up art books designed for youngsters ages 6 through 11 and usable by children and adults who are motivated to sort out their reading difficulties and put them behind them.
ReadingTools.org gets right to the point, with the free assessment and the e-book, and many stories about children who have succeeded with Bill’s unique program. For parents who are struggling to help children with reading difficulties, ReadingTools.org is a must-visit website.
