April 12, 2009 - Raleigh, NC - The latest statistics are alarming. Gangs are present in nearly every community in the U.S. with a total membership of close to three quarters of a million teens and young adults. Teens join for a sense of protection, belonging and excitement.
Such was the case for rapper Flame. Growing up on the inner-city streets of St. Louis, he was faced with the pressures of gang violence, crime and drugs. However, music and his faith led him on a very different path.
Join us this month at Cybernetic Light as we feature the story of this amazing young man and his rise to a Grammy Award Nominated rap artist.
