October 02, 2007 - Ranger Nation, a new publication from senior editor Jonathan Ragus, launched in mid September after running the fan page strictly on MySpace the first two years.
"There isn't really any strong publicity for the NHL or their teams. As a fan, I thought opening Ranger Nation to the public would bring more fans to the game" says Ragus. "Of course we aren't going to compare to the official webpages of the league and team, but we would do anything to help the game get even bigger. And from a fan stand point, this was a real opportunity to bring more fans to see what the New York Rangers and professional hockey is all about".
