January 24, 2008 - Raleigh, NC: Raleigh artist, Suzy Andron, announced that she has hung two of her polytych paintings at Salon Moxie for exhibition throughout January and February. Andron selected “Living Water” and “M,” which is part of her alphabet series, for display at the salon.
“Salon Moxie has an unusual atmosphere,” said Andron. “which makes it an interesting place to hang my artwork. I hope their client’s enjoy my paintings as part of their overall salon experience.”
Andron uses a unique technique called polytych, which is derived from an ancient art form that incorporates the use of multiple canvases, that work together with two or more canvases which may stand alone but have to relate to the whole. This makes for a compelling composition that draws the viewer in as they observe the elements, textures and dimensional aspects of each work of art.
