This accomplishment highlights the commitment of Radisson LAX team to balance superior service standards with environmentally friendly practices, resulting in a hospitality experience that guests can feel great about.

As an initiative of the California Department of General Services (DGS), the California Green Lodging program was developed to assist travelers in choosing “green” lodging options when staying in California lodging properties. The program encourages State and local government travelers to seek out and give preference to these certified “green hotels.” Requirements for participation in the program include meeting environmental standards for recycling, waste reduction, energy efficiency, water conservation, and indoor air quality. Leadership Level in the program is reserved for those lodging properties that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to environmental practices by meeting all seven of the program’s criteria and having a written environmental policy in place.
