July 21, 2007 - PORTLAND, OR, —Today, Dave Anolik, Quango Vice President and Creative Director, spoke at the Portland Key4Women luncheon for female entrepreneurs. Followed by Susan Sokol-Blosser, President of Sokol Blosser Winery, Anolik used Quango’s philosophies to advise women on the best means to generate a buzz.
Anolik directed his speech to entrepreneurs looking to attract new customers on a modest budget, providing insight into the small aspects of a company’s identity that can generate a much greater level of customer recognition and action. Anolik also assessed various methods of unconventional marketing, such as MySpace and blogging and their potential for success or lack thereof. Key4Women is a club created by Key Bank to provide small business services to women. Key Bank has already loaned more that $1 billion to female-run companies and aims to lend $2 billion more over the next five years. The club also provides educational tools and events to its members, creating a community and helping women to budget their business dollars most effectively.
