  • (1888PressRelease) September 09, 2011 - Bangalore based PurpleLeap, the employability skills pioneer, has partnered with SAP Education India to train students in SAP software to develop skills for cutting edge results. This partnership is aimed at enabling students gain access to and work on industry-leading software including Enterprise Resource Planning and SAP Business Objects software. The initiative is tailor-made to enhance employability of fresh graduates across various industries.

Being the world's most widely used enterprise application software; SAP is used by over 12 million people in over 120 countries. With the introduction of SAP software training in tier 2 and tier 3 city colleges, PurpleLeap intends to help students stand out in an extremely competitive marketplace. PurpleLeap will provide hands-on SAP training to students, thereby significantly increasing the resource pool of SAP software-trained professionals.

While there is an increasing demand for SAP-trained professionals across sectors in India, the supply trained graduates from tier 2 and tier 3 colleges doesn't meet the quality criterion. With PurpleLeap's SAP training programme being available across all its associate colleges, the employability factor is expected to boost.

Announcing this partnership, Mr. Amit Bansal, CEO, PurpleLeap said, "We are glad to be an academic training partner for SAP Software in India. Advanced tools such as ERP software are essential in preparing our students, especially in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, for the situations they will face in an increasingly complex, challenging and global economy. We are confident that the industry will find SAP-certified graduates from these colleges readily deployable."
