March 10, 2009 - Purple Inc. (www.purpletreatment.com), a leading drug and alcohol addiction recovery residence for men based in Lawrenceville, GA, today announced the introduction of a new program for the families of Purple alumni.
The program, which is being lovingly referred to as PAPA for Purple Alumni Parent Association, was created after the mother of a Purple alumnus approached the staff at Purple Inc. regarding a program for parents and other loved ones. Her idea is to create an environment that joins the families of the young men battling addiction until long after the men have completed treatment.
PAPA will make it easier for Purple alumni and their families to stay connected to Purple and to continue to support the recovery residence and each other through their work, wisdom, and capabilities.
A meeting to discuss the formation of the organization will be held at Purple on April 7, 2009 at 7:00 PM.
