  • Bangor, ME (1888PressRelease) June 17, 2014 - Pulse Marketing Agency is hosting a Waterfront Workout on June 28, 2014 from 9AM-12PM at the Bangor Waterfront. The exercise routines will be led by local fitness celebrity Amy Clark Badger, Owner of Bodies By Badger, a fitness studio in Brewer. This is the Agency's second community event, part of the 5 Months, 5 Deeds, 5 Years campaign to celebrate their 5th year in business by giving back to the community that has supported their growth and success over the years.

The goal of the Waterfront Workout is to engage the community in making use of the beautiful public parks that we are privileged to have available right in our backyards. "We wanted to promote family health and outdoors bonding time in our community. I'm a big fan of Amy Badger and couldn't think of anyone else better to lead an outdoors exercise event for all ages and fitness levels," says Cíntia Miranda, founder and president of Pulse Marketing Agency. "We are also very happy to have Bangor Public Health & Community Services there to reinforce their current campaign "A Healthy Bangor Starts with You," starring our local celebrity Mr. Paul Bunyan. It will be great fun!"

"I'm thrilled to have been asked to be a part of this amazing event!" says Amy Clark Badger, Owner of Bodies By Badger, "It is very simple to make exercise a part of your everyday life. Cíntia has given me the opportunity to show our community how it can be done in a super fun way. Helping our community become more happy and healthy is my mission and I can't think of better way to do that than spending a summer morning with friends and neighbors celebrating healthy living habits."

The first event for the 5 Months, 5 Deeds, 5 Years campaign was held in May during Bangor-Brewer Trails Day. Ten-year-old Isabel Kidwell, daughter of Pulse Marketing President Cíntia Miranda, presented Bangor Mayor Ben Sprague with 5 Snowball Viburnum trees to be planted around Bangor to attract pollinators in the community. The act aimed at encouraging youth to get involved in environmental causes and respect nature.

In the month of July, Pulse will be sponsoring a week of camp at Bangor Parks and Recreation for 5 local children of low income families, who otherwise could not afford to experience summer camp. The public is encouraged to nominate a qualifying child in private by emailing summercamp ( @ ) pulsemarketingagency dot com, or calling 947-9333 dot Five names will be randomly picked on July 25th, and families will be contacted privately dot The identity of the children and their families will not be revealed dot

Pulse wishes to use these deeds to not only celebrate 5 years in business, but to recognize the Bangor community for all it has to offer.
