Stakeholders Call for ‘Period of Reflection’ on the implementation of EU Health Claims Legislation

Prior to the planned European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) meeting with applicants on the 15th of June 2009, stakeholders from various different societal angles convened in Brussels on 2nd of June and agreed that the innovation element of (EC) Regulation 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims does not function.
