August 23, 2007 - HUG-ME-Campaign
Part of our education-information campaign, Psorphil will launch the HUG-ME-Campaign on September 16, 2007 from 1pm to 5pm. The venue will be announced later.

3pm to 5pm – Pictorials with Celebrities
September 17 – October 28, 2007
• Psorphil will engage more celebrities to participate and endorse our campaign. Famous movie-TV celebrity turned politician, Governor Vilma Santos will be asked by a member close to her. Psorphil members may go to Batangas and have a pictorial with her along with press people.
• Psorphil shall do rounds of TV and movie sets to solicit participation from celebrities.
Shirt Designs
Preparations are now on-going for the printing of shirts that bear the
1. HUG ME (front) – I’m not Contagious (back caption). These shirts will be worn by people with psoriasis while local famous celebrities hug us.
2. I HUGGED… A Person with Psoriasis. These shirts will be given to celebrities, doctors, friends who will hug a person with psoriasis.
Celebrities
Famous celebrities will be chosen on the merits of their visibility, popularity and good image. They will be invited to participate as endorsers of our message to the general public that psoriasis is not contagious.
Famous movie-TV-radio personalities, athletes, singers, models, politicians will be asked to hug a person with psoriasis and photos will be distributed to media.
This is our best chance to get our message across: Psoriasis is not contagious.
Media
Friends from the press (television-radio-print) will be invited to cover the event. A dermatologist will give the media a brief lecture about psoriasis. Flyers and other info-educational materials will be included in the press kit that will be prepared for the press people.
