July 12, 2007 - Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. adopted the Sunshine Kids Foundation as a network-wide charity in the spring of 1991. They have been a supporter ever since. Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping children with cancer and providing them with activities that enable them to have fun and enjoy life despite their illnesses.
Sunshine Kids provides programs nationwide and has been able to help thousands of children since its inception in 1982.
Prudential Select Properties of Clayton, Mo. is currently holding a cell phone fundraising drive to raise money for Sunshine Kids. They are asking the public to help by donating used and unwanted cell phones for the cause. Cell phones may be dropped off at their office located at 165 N. Meramec Ave., Suite 120, Clayton, Mo.
Cell phones and their batteries can be very harmful to the environment if they end up in landfills, so it is important that they not be thrown away. Prudential Select Properties has teamed up with PaceButler Corporation, a leader in cell phone recycling. PaceButler sends a check for each shipment of cell phones received. By donating old cell phones, the public can help raise money for Sunshine Kids and support children with cancer, while also helping to ensure that their phones do not end up in landfills.
