Redbows has launched a promotional gifts blog to provide buyers and specifiers with access to information they could require when considering giveaways for their promotional marketing campaigns. The new blog can be found at www.promotionalgiftsblog.co.uk
Redbows is one of the first gifts companies to use a blog for this purpose. The company already provides Adobe PDF format guides for download from its main website (www.redbows.co.uk). These tend to cover product ranges such as promotional confectionery and seasonal items like umbrellas. The intention behind the blog is to provide readers with a searchable on-line reference area and the opportunity for feedback and comment. The blog has a select number of categories covering issues such as ‘design and artwork’. Regular posting are made covering key issues that should be considered when purchasing promotional items. These can be made at any time and as soon as a particular problem area is highlighted a posting is uploaded together with links to supplementary information. The blog will also be used to provide general information on the gifts industry itself.
Initial postings have focused on various printing techniques and how artwork is generated. There is also a special fun aspect area shown as ‘Cocos corner’ and as Redbows launches new promotional gifts, their product-specific aspects will be covered within a blog entry.
