on part of Thomas Maguire's Plantation,that survived Gen. Sherman's,"March to the Sea Campaign".Today the plantation is owned by Iterracial slave ,white and Indian desentants.
The center is an important focal point for citizen services and support

	The Livseys', a Georgia family of two races will hold their reunion at Milan Park, in Clarkston, Ga. on June 14, 2009. It will be only the second time in over 170 years that the two sides of the family have come together at a family reunion. 01 DEC	Together, Black And White Livseys Travel, Back To Sen. Robert Tooms Plantation In Georgia
	Green H. Livsey(Lipsey), was the Overseer on Robert Toombs Plantation. Sandy Livsey was a Mulatto son, born in Wilkes County,Ga.1822.Earlier this year the white and black Livseys desendants of these two men,became one family,in Georgia. This Saturday,family members of both sides will travel together from Snellville to Washington Ga. to be in attendance.
