Project Never Forget Creates Lasting Images Of Fallen Soldiers

Project Never Forget is honored to offer every family who has lost a soldier in Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom one personalized 3-D pendant created from a photo of their loved one.

(1888PressRelease) September 06, 2007 - CHESTERFIELD, MO. -- Kelly Read received a package in late June, containing a necklace and note. Three years earlier, Read lost her son Brandon in Iraq when a roadside bomb exploded near his truck on a risky convoy mission. He voluntarily traded places with a fellow soldier, and as a result, saved that man’s life. The necklace she received several years later was sent by Project Never Forget, a group of American companies working together to create a 3-D memorial photo pendant of fallen soldiers for their surviving families.

“I never imagined that it would resemble him so much. I absolutely love it and will wear it with pride. It will be another way that I can keep him close to my heart and keep his memory alive,” said Read.

Project Never Forget is honored to offer every family who has lost a soldier in Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom one personalized 3-D pendant created from a photo of their loved one. Founder Joel Ragan includes a personal note to the family in every package.

Strong partnerships with jewelry manufacturing leaders Hoover & Strong, BoxCo International Inc., RoseCo Inc. and Hallmark Sweet have been essential to supplying pendants at no cost to the families. Because of their continued support, every photo pendant - created by ForeverLoved.com - is cast in sterling silver and hung on an 18” chain. The charms are also soon to be presented in custom “folded flag” boxes, in honor of the traditional American flag given to a fallen soldier’s family.

“We started out with a patriotic ambition and a website,” said Ragan. “Here we are, 6 months later, still making a difference. We’re ready and able to step up to the next level with the support of our partners.”
