May 22, 2008 - Leading printer supplier Printerland (www.printerland.co.uk) has netted a premier league partner by completing a deal to sell Samsung’s range of printers through its online and offline channels.
With the multi-million pound relationship Printerland continues to cement its place as the major player in the printer reseller arena, while global IT electronics titan (and Chelsea FC sponsor) Samsung will benefit from increased sales channel exposure in the UK market.
Speaking about the delight of having converted the talks into a firm agreement, Sale Sharks Rugby sponsor Printerland said it was now set to reach a new level in its business development.
James Kight, managing director at Printerland, commented, “Samsung has taken the market by storm and has achieved significant market share growth in the printer category over the past 12 months. Working with Samsung, we feel that we are going to take our relationship to the next level, strengthening and developing our businesses.”
Printerland customers will now not only benefit from the addition of a world leading brand to the Cheshire firm’s extensive product range but also from a comprehensive commercial back-up network that will include Samsung technical assistance and support.
The deal adds extra weight to Printerland’s customer service strategy with a new line of printers to showcase in its Demonstration Centre in Altrincham. The centre was established in summer 2007 and has played a major role in the firm’s ability to secure large client wins.
