Preserving California’s History

The West Side Lumber Company operated in Tuolumne, California for over 60 years. It was the last narrow gauge logging operation in the West. The history of this railroad will soon be lost if something is not done to protect it. The structures once used as the car shops will soon be destroyed and replaced by a golf course.
