September 23, 2008 - ISH North America (ISH NA), the international trade show for Kitchen & Bath, Plumbing, Commercial/Industrial Pipes, Valves & Fittings (PVF), Heating and Air Conditioning, will be held Oct. 1-3, 2008 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.

Business-related seminars will cover marketing, operations, products and strategies designed to help attendees grow their businesses. The seminar program also features a track focusing on efficient technologies and renewable energy structured to educate professionals on the growing use of green applications within their field. Featured topics will include state-of-the-art green technologies from solar thermal, ground source heat pump, solar PV and hydrogen fuel cell technology, to high-efficiency space and water heating, waste heat recovery and water reuse and reclamation. As part of its commitment to green technologies, ISH NA is also proud to welcome the HVAC Mobile Green Classroom to Atlanta. Created through a consortium of industry trade organizations, the HVAC Mobile Green Classroom is a traveling trailer with green trainers and simulators that offer hands-on training and information on energy-efficient systems and techniques.
Another special event during the show will be the 2008 Plumbing Apprentice Contest, which will be held on Thursday, Oct. 2 in conjunction with the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association. Attendees will be able to watch the contestants as they compete to show that they are the “best of the best” plumbing apprentices in North America.
ISH NA is the only show in North America offering a consolidated market to contractors, wholesalers and distributors. Bringing the industry together under one roof, the trade show will run concurrent with “Network,” the annual convention for the American Supply Association (ASA) and the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC), as well as the annual convention for the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO), and the famous Maple Leaf Reception produced by the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH).
