FRI April 25th --12th HOUR ENT. Recording Artist Wil Louchi hits the stage to make his Debut at The 2008 Detroit Music Awards. Louchi, a Detroit born, multi-talented Rapper and Producer will perform in front of nearly 3,000 music fans and Detroit’s most influential industry leaders at The Fillmore (Formerly The State Theatre)
Previous DMA events have featured electrifying performances and guest appearances by Detroit's most celebrated artist including, Eminem with D12, Kid Rock among many others. The annual award show also spotlights outstanding emerging local Talent. The exposure will elevate another one of Detroit’s own artists to a whole new level.
Louchi brings his straightforward dominating stage presence, intertwined word play of melodic edgy lyrics and deep introspect to stage while he raps about the struggles of life in Detroit. In his unique smooth baritone voice, he says…
“If there was no struggle, there would be no reason for me to rap”. In Louchi’s song “My Passion” raw bravura and fatalistic lyrics describe the passion he has for his music and his city, “Ain’t no time to play, Trying to put some food up on ya plate, On the chase for first,...
