May 07, 2009 - Cincinnati, OH – For business leaders and communications professionals trying to gain a competitive advantage in the local or national marketplace, Eisen Marketing Group through the Public Relations Agency Owners Association, has created a monthly, executive level leadership and professional development workshop series.

The seminars, designed to assist leaders and executives in upping the professional communications skills of either themselves or their organization, give the tools needed to proactively confront many of the top issues business leaders must address knowledgeably each day. The monthly leadership seminars will teach executives such things as how to be a better public speaker, how to give better media interviews, understanding and taking advantage of social media, managing communications budgets, and more.
The professional seminars will be moderated and in some cases led by EMG president and PRAOA chairman Rodger Roeser, although special guests and other experts will be brought in throughout the series. The first event, held June 1 at 9 a.m. will share best practices in giving dynamic speeches that motivate internal and external stakeholders to action. Roeser says, “All those participating will absolutely walk out of the seminar a better, more confident and more energized speaker. Let’s face it, when trying to secure funding, win votes, persuade or motivate, a good delivery combined with concise content is critical. A weak speaker is the sign of a weak leader.”
