The Silver Coast has long been heralded as ‘the real Portugal’, with little villages and stunning inland towns just a short drive from beaches and where the housing is still relatively cheap.

With house price inflation rising 3.8% already in the first quarter of 2008, those with property investment in Portugal will be looking to reap rewards.
