Salmon Street Studio’s co-founder and CEO, Gretchen Wooff, said: “We will be very active in the local arts and crafts fair scene this spring and summer. This will give many of our local customers who buy from us online to meet us and see our newest designs in person.
“At our first event, we featured our new Portland Coat of Arms line in many different styles and colors – which was a hit with locals and visitors alike.”
Salmon Street Studio’s Cool Fashions at PDX Etsy Art & Craft Show in June
PDX Etsy (http://www.pdxetsy.com) Art & Craft Show will be held in Portland’s lovely South Park Blocks on Saturday June 28. There will be many great local creators there selling such things as handmade soap, lovely handcrafted jewelry and art. The Portland Farmers Market (http://www.portlandfarmersmarket.org/Profile.htm) is just to the north, so visitors can buy local food as well.
The Mississippi Street Fair – July 12
The Mississippi Street Fair is a great event with free music and dance performances, children’s games, amazing food from Mississippi Avenue restaurants, a fashion show, local arts and crafts. Plus, there will be a giant community yard sale and many talented artists and crafters selling their work. More than 11, 000 people attended last year’s fair.
PDX Etsy Art & Craft Fairs – July 19 and August 9: More Bold Graphic Designs
Even more good reason to visit the Salmon Street Studio stand at the July and August PDX EtsyArt & Craft Fairs: The PDX Etsy Street Team (http://www.pdxetsy.com) will donate a portion of proceeds to the Women’s Studies Department at PSU.
Wooff said: “We’ll keep these dates up on our website. Of course, people looking for hand-crafted merchandise are invited to shop there if they are not in Portland, cannot make it to any of the events, or simply prefer to buy online.
“And just a reminder – we offer free shipping worldwide on orders over US$100 placed on http://www.SalmonStreetStudio.com.”
Each of Salmon Street Studio’s prints is hand-pulled on American Apparel T-shirts and onesies in their studio in South East Portland. For more information about Salmon Street Studio or to view its handcrafted product range, visit http://www.SalmonStreetStudio.com.
