April 23, 2007 - World renowned music producer and filmmaker Ryan C. Stith and his band of producers and performers known simply as C6 return to the source of their first creation that lad to immediate success in 2002. Their first Goa Trance Project “Breathe” was released on Y0ur Music Records in May of 2002 and sold more than 20,000 copies on its independent online music store, and received tons of play-time in underground raves and popular night clubs around the world. In 2003 they followed up their debut release with a flashback to the past century with “The Fall Of Berlin”. By this time Y0ur Music Records had merged with another label and became Atomic Alien Productions.
What makes C6 so unique? Besides the dynamic instrumental performances and unearthly sequences, the music contains something that goes a little deeper than just a catchy rhythm. C6 utilizes and enhances the Theta and Delta brainwave patterns and stimulates a higher state of consciousness. The electroencephalograph is a machine that monitors brainwave-activity. Laboratories around the world have done studies using these tools to better understand the four main brainwave patterns: BETA, ALPHA, THETA and DELTA. Each frequency has a characteristic blueprint-and produces a distinctive state of consciousness. C6 doesn’t control the mind through music, it sets the mind free.
Six full length albums and five years later the reunite one more time to produce a Best Of album with sixteen tracks; all of them remixed and re-mastered with four all new previously unreleased tracks. C6 parted ways in 2005 after their double disc release entitled “Cosmic Energy” that contained twenty-eight heart pounding, foot stomping, and entrancing songs. Ryan Stith says they separated not because of indifferences or egos, but because C6 was a project and the project was completed with “Cosmic Energy”. But with the popularity of their music the unanimous decision was made to come together to put out one more piece of artwork. C6 consists of Ryan Stith, Shane Elliott, Jordan Elliott, Daniel Santos, Cesar Jacobo, and has been making electronic music since 2000 with the debut experimental project entitled, Cursed. The group followed up with the five part Trance series of C6 and continues to work in other avenues in music and film production.
