Residents and visitors in Plattsburgh, the North Country and the Champlain Valley now have an interactive web site for community information, input, and individual participation.
PlattsburghPipeline.com features a Community Calendar where anyone can post or locate events in and around Plattsburgh, New York. Any active groups, from non-profit organizations like The North Country Center for Independence to local bands like ElephantBear or Lucid, can post events on the plattsburghpipeline.com's Community Calendar.
Another feature of the web site, Pipeline Pages, is a local business directory targeting Plattsburgh, Burlington and Montreal consumers. Its goal is to acquaint shoppers with local businesses, increase revenues of local business owners, and create more jobs in the community. Pipeline Radio is Plattsburgh's sole broadcast outlet for local music, and is carried world-wide through iTunes, Windows Media, Shoutcast Radios.
PlattsburghPipeline.com appears to have found and filled some important gaps in communications and community services in the North Country and Champlain Valley. The site will be expanding as local businesses and participants take advantage of the new services it offers.

On April 1st, 2008, Scott Osika, Matt Drollette, and Brian Kinney began the project as partners and in less than two months, the ingenuous trio developed Plattsburgh's first Interactive community website plattsburghpipeline.com. All three are Plattsburgh residents in their 20's and 30's. Scott Osika graduated from Plattsburgh State University with a Bachelors of Science in Education. Matt Drollette is a student and innovated web developer. Brian Kinney has owned and operated KBS Computer since 1999 and is works for PSU in the School of Business and Economics.
