"It's taken a while, I must admit," says PinkCatShop CEO Richard Rhys Davies explaining that his championing of the unique designs of California based French designer Claudette Barjoud hasn't been plain sailing. "But in the last few months things have really started to move," he adds.
Barjoud's Fluff range includes purses, vanity cases, cosmetics bags and other items aimed at young women and themed with her own chic and retro-styled designs.
"It was that uniqueness which meant that the line didn't take off immediately," says Rhys Davies, "It took people a while to get a handle on it. But we had faith and now we're seeing the payoff for that."
