September 12, 2009 - Pickles Auctions Gateshead has been saving Novacastrians thousands on quality used cars for over a decade and the savings will keep on coming, with Pickles recently being appointed the official auctioneer of the NSW Government.
Government motor vehicles, including those from local councils, now make up 70 per cent of auctioned vehicle lots in the weekly motor vehicles auction at Bulls Garden Road.
Many are less than two years old and some come with the manufacturer’s warranty still valid. All government vehicles are sold with registration papers and a current roadworthy certificate.

The Pickles Government, Fleet and Repossessed Auction is held every Wednesday at 3.30pm at 150 Bulls Garden Road, Gateshead. Viewing is available between 8.30am to 4.30pm every Tuesday and from 8.30am on the day of sale.
In addition to auction vehicles, car buyers can also buy before auction at fixed prices. For consumers unfamiliar with the auction process, buy before auction is a great way to buy at below retail prices, in a non-bidding environment. Fixed price vehicles are available for viewing and purchase Monday to Wednesday and on Saturdays. There’s no haggling and no pressure.
