PHX Architecture hosts PHX Arch Summer 2014 Camp
6th annual summer camp at PHX Architecture in Scottsdale, Arizona occurred in June 2014.
- Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (1888PressRelease) June 26, 2014 - Each year PHX Architecture holds the PHX Arch Summer Camp, a two week experience for junior high school and high school students to experience a career in architecture through an educational camp session.
The camp session included all of the day-to-day activities of an architect including skills such as Space Planning, Hand Rendering, 3D Modeling, Project Management, and much more. The program also included lunch each day and tours of Taliesin West, ASU, and a construction site.
"It's great to have the campers here to experience a real-life architecture firm," said Nikal Conti, Principal at PHX Architecture. "It helps them to make the decision of pursuing architecture as a career and gives them a hands-on learning experience."

About Nikal Conti
Nikal Conti, Principal at PHX Architecture holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Minor in Development Economics, from Southern Polytechnic State University. She also had a successful career in Retail Management in Merchandising and Marketing. Nikal then began her career in San Francisco, CA. She worked for two other architectural firms before coming to PHX in 2004. Currently, Nikal is responsible for new business development, financial and organizational operations, and marketing, with select project management responsibilities.
