Phuket Will Receive A Huge Boosts To The Local Economy As It Host The Building Bridges: Road To Wealth Business Summit 2009

Phuket will host to more than 500 investors from around the world on September 5-6, 2009 during the prestigious Building Bridges: Road to Wealth Business Summit which will be held at Moevenpick Resort and organized by one of the world’s leading business institute, Business Builders International. The summit is also known as the Moms and Dads business summit.

(1888PressRelease) May 16, 2009 - Phuket is set to receive a huge boosts to the local economy in September this year.

With the support of Thailand Conventions and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) and many of the hospitality and tourism sectors, moves are well in hand to promote the event to the world and to the local business community. The summit was initially developed by BBI to act as a real vehicle for investment throughout the Asia Pacific countries. Last time, the event was held in Vanuatu-a small South Pacific nation. New joint-venture resorts were established and over a hundred and seventy houses and condominiums were purchased or constructed. Mr. Condren added, This is a normal trend for this event.

We are now in the process of inviting local companies interested in marketing their products on a worldwide basis to our investors. As part of the event, we are holding a 3-day-in-house close session for our investors to meet and discuss business opportunities with Thai companies, in particular Thai companies in Phuket. One of the primary goals of the summit is to provide individual introduction between investors and business developers. These sessions will be arranged in a private atmosphere set aside from the event during the summit’s working times.

The conference is designed to stimulate new initiatives between investors and companies who are looking for new business opportunities within the whole of Thailand, with a special emphasis on Phuket region.

Many of the summit’s participants come looking to invest mainly in real estates, property and tourism ventures. It has been well established that the participants (investors) come with an average investment portfolio of 10 million Australian Dollars each. While time has toughened the business world at present, an estimated 500 million Australian Dollars is a lot of money
to be available to the local community of Phuket. ‘While investors come looking for new business opportunities mainly through real estates and tourism sector, other industries will also benefit from this event.’ Mr. Paul Condren says.
