December 21, 2007 - Australia -- Accor announced the appointment of Phil Richards to the position of Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Western Australia and Northern Territory.
Phil commenced working for Accor in 1990, when he completed a hotel traineeship at Novotel Langley Hotel Perth. He then relocated to the newly re-branded Mercure Inn Overland Kalgoorlie, as Assistant Manager from 1994 - 96.
Returning to Perth in 1996 he was Executive Assistant Manager at the then Princes Hotel, which became the Hotel Ibis Perth, where he became General Manager in 2000.
Phil will commence his new role on 14th January 2008 and will be based in the Accor Regional Sales Office at the Mercure Hotel Perth.
