Peter David Orr was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, in 1966. He currently resides in Easton, Pennsylvania, with his wife Andrea and three sons, Scott, Derek and Garrett. The author is an educator with an abiding love for writing, research, art, travel and music. The Dive is the author’s first novel. However, he wrote a history of the diplomatic initiatives intended to end or curtail the spread of the Second World War called Peace at Daggers Drawn that was published in 2005. Peter loves traveling. He has been to countries as diverse as Austria, Egypt, Scotland, St. Lucia and South Korea. In this regard much of his writing is directly inspired by his own experiences. The author’s passion for travel also comes across in his artwork. For eleven years Peter has been producing and selling original watercolors, oils and one-of-a-kind sculptures created in his attic studio. The author’s idea of relaxation usually involves being with family and friends, music (he enjoys playing guitar and piano), reading, watching a good movie, or playing pick-up basketball with his buddies from Easton’s Southside.
