June 22, 2007 - Levinson, author of The Silk Code, Borrowed Tides, and The Plot to Save Socrates is the winner, nominee or finalist of numerous awards including the Locus Award, the Hugo, the Nebula, the Prometheus, the Edgar and the Audie. The conference, which takes place September 6, 7 and 8, 2007, at the Courtyard Marriott located at 30 East Hubbard in downtown Chicago, IL, is designed to encourage a dialog between editorial and media personnel, business and education leaders, mental and physical health professionals and anyone from the general public interested in "discussing the issues that make us human."
Levinson joins “The Love Doctor” Dr. Terri Orbuch, author and advertising guru Steffan Postaer, Australian therapist Dr. Charmaine Saunders, author, professor and game designer Tom Filsinger and author Carol O’Dell as speakers for the event.

Fees for the conference are $400 if registered before July 1, $500 after July 1 and $600 at the door. Advanced registration or advanced hotel reservations will not be taken after August 23, 2007.
