October 03, 2007 - The conference, open to everyone, will be held in the Washington, D.C. suburbs, and is hosted by Pastor Lyle Dukes and Co-Pastor Deborah Dukes of the Harvest Life Changers Church. Other speakers include Bishop Harry Jackson, of the Hope Christian Church in College Park, Maryland, Pastor J.E. Sturdivant of Faith United Ministries in District Heights, MD, and Pastor Luke Torian of First Mount Zion Baptist Church in Dumfries, VA. Special guest artists include the anointed gospel legend Tramaine Hawkins and the exciting gospel sensation Kelly Price.
With the theme “The Year of the Open Door,” the conference is designed to present the tools to help make ministry become more effective by providing seminars covering nearly every aspect of ministry. Dynamic workshops include Maximizing Church Growth, Building an Effective Singles Ministry, Developing Purpose Driven Youth Programs and Building an Effective Choir and Music Ministry. Leaders with first-hand knowledge and experience will teach the workshops. This is a great opportunity for pastors, church staff, leadership, those working in ministries and anyone wanting to learn about excellence in ministry to come and learn from experienced personnel. A special luncheon with Pastors Lyle and Deborah Dukes will be held for pastors & spouses and associate ministers during the conference. This will present an opportunity to learn, share and fellowship while enjoying a delicious meal. The price of this luncheon is $30 per person. Workshop sessions and services will be held at Harvest Life Changers Church, International in Woodbridge.
