April 11, 2007 - Be it rain or shine, Circa39 Hotel’s weekly Sunday afternoon pool parties have definitely been the place to be in Miami Beach. But, there’s a new amusing theme to this fun event- ‘Doggies in Drag.’ Every Sunday, party-goers can bring their little doggies dressed up in drag to compete for best costume.
As part of the live entertainment provided by divas extraordinaire, Tiffany and Ebonee Exell, the doggies will compete for ‘Best in Drag.’ Every week, the winner will receive a gift certificate, and a sponsor will make a donation to the ‘Get A Life’ Pet Rescue, a foster home and rehabilitation center for dogs located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
The kickoff for this exciting event was on Sunday, March 25th and it drew the interest of South Florida’s very own entertainment show, Deco Drive, broadcasted on WSVN Channel 7. Prince, the winning dog in drag that week, was adopted and given a good home within three days after the event.
The pool party is just one of many events put on by Circa39. Catch a movie poolside every Wednesday night while enjoying free popcorn.
Network and enjoy cocktail specials every Thursday evening at ‘Circa39’s Industry Night;’ and sample wines from various countries every Friday evening at our ‘Wine Tasting night.’ Meet new friends, relax by the pool or in the garden while enjoying drink specials or free snacks throughout the evening.
