May 19, 2008 - “Sunfeast World 10K Run” is the world’s richest 10 kilo meters race which was held on May 18, 2008 in Bangalore. Six races were organized as part of the event namely, World 10K Elite Men and Women, Senior Citizens’ Run (4km), Wheelchair Event (4km), Open 10K Run and Majja Run (5.7km). Total price money was $150,000. The race was conducted under the aegis of the Athletics Federation of India and Karnataka Athletic Association and supported by the Government of Karnataka and the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
