Park Avenue Smart Lipo(TM) Surgeon to Deliver Lecture at the Aesthetic Meeting 2014
Dr. Spero Theodorou, a leading plastic surgeon at Park Avenue Smart Lipo™ will be talking on 3D body contouring techniques at the ASAPS' 47th annual Aesthetic Meeting 2014.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) February 19, 2014 - Dr. Spero Theodorou, a leading plastic surgeon at Park Avenue Smart Lipo™, will be one among the skilled and professional plastic surgeons participating in and teaching courses at the ASAPS' (American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) Aesthetic Meeting 2014. This prestigious meeting is scheduled to be held from 24 to 29th of April 2014 at Moscone Center, San Francisco.
The Aesthetic Meeting - the annual meeting of the ASAPS (American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery/ASERF (Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation) is designed to help plastic surgeons get the education needed to ensure that they are at the top of their craft, improve patient safety and enhance their practices. The 2014 Aesthetic Meeting includes over 200 technical and scientific exhibits in The Aesthetic Marketplace and over 130 teaching courses, including 18 exciting new topics.
Dr. Theodorou is a member of the team teaching the intermediate level course entitled "Three-Dimensional Body Contouring - The Next Generation of Liposuction, Abdominoplasty, and Muscle Augmentation with Fat Grafting". This course is scheduled to be held on April 28 from 2pm to 6.30 pm. The expected outcomes of the course include the following:
-Evaluate artistic anatomy for body contouring surgery by focusing on aesthetics, by first defining the ideal beauty, discussing the underlying anatomy, and more importantly, how this translates to surface anatomy with tridimensional liposculpture.
-Create 3D liposculpture employing new "aesthetics zones" that tie in with patients by designing a comprehensive view of the anatomical structures.
-Correlate specific underlying anatomical muscular patterns to apply into the body contouring process for optimal results.
-Make use of the 3D concepts acquired and use them to identify the amount of volume augmentation/reduction required in specific body parts and thereby create a well-contoured, athletic physique.
-Compare various available technologies and discuss the experience of different plastic surgeons with 3D liposuction
-Combine this new approach and the artistic anatomy basis with other body contouring procedures such as mini and full abdominoplasty. This will help to enhance the vision of the plastic surgeon and help achieve the results patients want.
Dr. Spero Theodorou, who leads the Manhattan plastic surgery practice Park Avenue Smart Lipo™, has published in-depth articles in leading plastic surgery journals and made presentations on various aesthetic body contouring procedures including liposuction and its innovative techniques. His focus is on providing a full range of plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery procedures designed to achieve patients' cosmetic goals.
Dr. Theodorou is also part of the surgeon team teaching a course on "Liposuction 2014: New Technologies, Established Techniques, and Combined Procedures", at the Aesthetic Meeting 2014 on April 27.
