July 01, 2009 - Tomsk, Russia - In Q4-2008 Palex started to improve its current quality management system as well as sort and organize its documents in order to bring the system in compliance with the ISO standard. It was found out that the system developed during 7 years of the company's existence essentially met the requirements of the standard, and the consultants acknowledged Palex Quality Manual as one of the best in their practice.
On April 2nd and 3rd, 2009, the representatives of NQA Russia certification body completed an audit of Palex Languages and Software that demonstrated that the Quality Management System is compliant with ISO 9001:2008 and the company's management is deeply involved into the system development. The audit discovered two non-critical inconsistencies and resulted in three recommendations.
The updated quality management system allowed Palex to address quality problems faster and to prevent them. The registration by NQA requires the company to continue ensuring the compliance of its quality management system with the above standard, which will be monitored by NQA.
